Who can be a member of AACASA?
AACASA membership is for:
- families who have adopted a child from Africa,
- families, couples or individuals who are seeking to adopt a child from Africa, and
- families, couples or individuals who support the aims of AACASA but do not intend to adopt a child from Africa.
Why be a member of AACASA?
o AACASA provides information, advice and support through our membership and Ethiopian Adoption Support Package before, during and after an adoption,
o AACASA maintains regular contact with AACASA's representative in Ethiopia for foster care, sponsorship and aid projects as well as offering extra and additional support for AACASA's Ethiopian Adoption Support Package Members in Ethiopia,
o social support and contact with AACASA members throughout Australia including those hoping to adopt children from Ethiopia,
o AACASA provides direct support for families pursuing Ethiopian Adoption from Ethiopia through the Ethiopian Adoption Support Package,
o AACASA is active in fundraising for several children's homes in Addis Ababa as well as the Koala Home, the AACASA funded foster home,
o AACASA collects and sends AID in the form of clothing, linen, toiletries and medicines not only to these but other recipients in Ethiopia and wherever able in Africa (Rwanda 1994),
o a quarterly newsletter keeps members abreast of all current issues and news, and what is happening around Australia, and
o AACASA is affiliated with other adoption associations, parent support and community groups around Australia.
What does it cost to join AACASA?
For New Members.... In 2006 Membership is $70 per family
For Renewal.... In 2006 Membership is $60 per family

Please note...
- "Family" denotes membership for a family, couple and/or single person.
- Renewal of membership is due on 1st July each Year.
- This Membership Fee includes a copy of the Annual AACASA Calendar.
- Members who join during April, May, June will be deemed to be paid up till 30th June of the following year.
How to join AACASA
- Download the "Membership Form" (see below)
- Fill in your details
- Either attach a cheque or money order or fill in your credit card details
- Post the Membership Form to the Treasurer (address is on the Membership Form)
- Wait patiently for a reply - it might take a couple of weeks
