Amharic Lessons
|
Wanted |
|
We are looking for a venue - that is close to or in the Auburn area (near Parramatta, in Sydney) - please contact Leanne or Carmel if you are able to help (e.g. your local school or church could assist with a classroom or a hall for use once a week or once a fortnight). |
|
Time It has been suggested that weekend lessons would be best - as lessons on week days would need to be later in the afternoons which would be too late for primary children. |

Park and Ethiopian Restaurant
Have a play at the park and/or lunch at the Ethiopian restaurant.
The park:
Date: Sunday 19th August
Time: 10am
Place: Moolabin Park Moorooka.
The park is between Vendale Road and Wharton Street. Park your car on Vendale Road. The park has a playgroup but no toilet. If you go up Koala Road which directly across from the park and turn right into Pampas Street you are at the Moorooka shops. It is less than a kilometre and will take about 15 minutes to walk with children to the restaurant but I think that most of us will drive up because of the time.
The restaurant:
Date: Sunday 19th August
Time: 12:30pm
BYO Alcohol.
RSVP to Lisa
It is at the end of an alley way. It is on the left hand side of Beaudesert Road if you are headed towards the city. Prices are inexpensive. The easiest parking is at the Woolworth's but you will have a little walk. There is a bottle shop on the walk from Woolworth’s.
Preparation for Ethiopian New Year
